Day Trip To Portavadie

A beautiful warm and bright summer's day, so we headed down to Tarbert and went with friends on the Tarbert to Portavadie ferry; a short sail over a.about 25 minutes.

The marina there is always worth a wander round, really serious money there. The last time we went over we met Sir Tom Farmer who had just sailed in on his magnificent yacht which dwarfed all the other ones already beryhed there.

Also met some other friends who had the same idea so we all got together in the restuarant which serves delicious meals. A lovely time spent in good company. What more could we ask?

Off course we had a meander around the forest before evening return trip. Tonight's blip is a view of the ferry after we returned to tTarbert.
