A day of food, folks and surprises

Had a lovely morning at at Kirkwall baptist. The Pastor there Rev Don Currie is a friend of many years standing and it was brilliant to catch up with him and hear all his news. He still has the same awesome Glaswegian sense of humour and his teaching has only improved with age!
The surprise was that after he Baptised my friend Eilidh he asked if there were any other believers who would like to be baptised and after a few minutes Eilidh's brother Matt came forward.
You should have heard the cheers after he was baptised !
Their parents kindly took us to this lovely Italian restaurant afterwards where i had some tasty orkney fudge cheesecake and we had a delightful afternoon before I caught my flight home.
