Fresh
A few Hazel catkins have emerged, always one of the first indications that we are starting to get out the other side of winter, although the wintry showers forecast for the weekend offset too much optimism. Still, there was a bit of milky sunshine for my walk down to the woods.
Later, I watched Chinatown for the first time in many years, possibly for only the second time. Given it’s considered one of the classics of cinema I’ve probably read enough about it over the years, and seen enough still images, for it to be full of very familiar moments and scenes, but as a whole it still felt fresh and engaging.
