Perennial petunias?

These are the petunias that I left in the trough back in the autumn. They seem to have survived and even grown and are now surrounded with violas still in flower and tulips, alliums and crocus coming through too. 
All spotted on return from a few hours on the allotment. A bit of proper digging and spot the pile of bindweed roots on the black tray. I must get another root-rotting bucket going.
