Started to alter (make longer) my table runner for the new table. It took me a while to find the leftover fabric but I was eventually successful and decided which part of the patterned fabric to use and got all the pieces cut to size. No time to finish though as I quickly had some lunch and then went down to Foodbank to meet Le and Ni to make up a toiletries bag for each family ready for tomorrow’s deliveries. We got rid of everything except toothpaste . We gave out one tube per person and still have 120 tubes left! We also found a big bag full of new nail varnish and make-up ( pictured) . We’ll make up a few bags for the tombola from this. It took us most of the afternoon as we also did some general sorting out. I went food shopping straight from there . Went out at 9pm to collect the m and s donation but the loading bay gate was closed, the door bell doesn’t work and I couldn’t get anyone to answer despite knocking and shouting loudly. I could hear them talking though. Grr!
