Tree surgery

The old apple has much too much growth and we should have given it a hard prune years ago, then again less years ago when the trees on the other side of the stream were seriously cut back.
Anyway today seemed like a good time and so some wayward branches pruned out. This just emphasised how wayward other branches were.
This afternoon rain stopped play but tomorrow may be dry, but still very cold…..
