Departure Bay

It was a busy day cleaning followed by a short walk on the beach followed by choir practice...... necessitating a late post for the day.  Departure Bay is where the ferries arrive from Horseshoe Bay (Vancouver), but tucked well around the far corner (do bays have corners?).  It is also a lovely beach for swimming and walking.  It also has become semi-famous for a heartfelt ballad by our local jazz star Diana Krall.
