Beloved olive grove
The Ferry docked on time and we were off, passports stamped and on the road by 9am. It’s been gorgeous sunshine the whole way south and we have now stopped for the night on the outskirts of Mérida.
We often stay over en route at the same little hotel which has ancient olive trees I love. They are well over 100 years old and well cared for. I feel once I’ve had a walk around them, I’m truly back on the Iberian peninsular.
We’ll have an early start tomorrow with brunch in Seville before continuing further on south to the finca. I hope you’re all having a relaxing weekend everyone. .
