Strip the Willow

This was just a warmup prior to Glasgow's biggest ever Strip the Willow dance.  It  took place today on Sauchiehall Street Glasgow in celebration of a large stretch of the pedestrian thoroughfare which reopened a month or two ago after many months dug up and fenced off.


'Strip the Willow' is a traditional dance in which a pair of dancers go down a row of dancers alternatively swinging each other and other dancers on each side.  Well, something like that anyway - it does get a bit raucous as it goes on.
