Lunch
This morning when I left to walk Django, it was damp and dull, with a sprinkling of snow on the garage roof. On my return there was little more than time to think about an email I'd received overnight, and have a shower, before we took the bus into Edinburgh.
A had been attracted by the "murder mystery" theme of this month's menu at Six by Nico but, when I tried to book yesterday, no tables were available today or Sunday at either Edinburgh restaurant. All I could get was lunch at 12:15. It was quite a fun experience, with character backgrounds and some snippets of evidence on the menu, and other clues brought to the table with each of the six "tasting menu" courses. The food wasn't outstanding, but OK for the price. The murderer was neither of the two people we suspected (of four!) but that's the way these mysteries can play out!
Afterwards, the damp and dull weather didn't inspire us to hang around in Edinburgh, so we got straight on a bus home.
