Our great friend lost his 8.5 year brave battle against kidney cancer and it's mutations a short while after I posted last night's blip. At 2 weeks short of his 63rd birthday it was way too soon. Only the good die young. He will be missed by his partner, family & many, many good friends.
What I will say is, during my brief experience of the North West Hospice facility, yesterday, it was extremely positive despite the very sad situation. All the staff & volunteers were so caring.
