Breakwater
We set off early this morning to drive down to Pagham in West Sussex where we met up with family members who were staying down there for a few days. We arrived early enough to enjoy breakfast with them at the beach cafe, and then spent some time on the beach.
It was a bright sunny day (although not uncomfortably hot); the strong sun made photography quite difficult because the high contrasts produced a range of tones generally beyond the capability of the camera to record in a single exposure. However, the lighting also brought out the rich colours in this breakwater.
Later, after a short walk, we enjoyed a barbecue in the garden, before we left them and returned home this evening. A good day.
