Fuming.
Funny old day...
Lovely new clients in the studio this morning. Really interesting girls. Great to chat to. One of them made a vulva. Random! Popped it on the top shelf away from the afternoon clients.
Afternoon clients annoyed me! They were the family that I had double booked last week. Grannie tried the wheel but just couldn't get the hang of it and kept wanting my help. I'm not a teacher, I just hire the space. Once they had finished their session I went back in the studio to find the sprinkles of glaze Jasper had carefully placed on his clock everywhere but on his clock. They had clearly picked it up off the shelf that was above the kiln and tipped it up not realising the glaze chips were loose. Jasper is very good at not touching anyone else's pieces and he says "and they mustn't touch mine either". Not only was his piece ruined, there were glaze chips everywhere. All over the kiln lid, the bits drying on the kiln and all over the floor. I had made those glaze chips for Jasper in his choice of colour so had to clear it all up and make him more glaze chips and try and carefully place them back on his clock, avoiding the areas he needed to keep glaze free (where he had specific stickers).Thankfully the family won't be returning as they just booked a one off session and left me instructions on how to glaze everything they made. I gave them a free session to make up for double booking them. They under weighed their pieces, will take up my time glazing their bits, got a free session and ruined Jasper's clock!!!!!
Thankfully the good clients outweigh the really annoying ones but boy was I cross!
