The Glass Ceiling

This is the ceiling over the entrance hall to the Perth Art Gallery. The main exhibition features works by William Gillies which Pat was particularly keen to see. Not so much for the actual works but to study some of his painting techniques.

Also on display are works by John Duncan Fergusson which are much more to my taste. An example is the first extra which is of Ann Emslie Rice, who JD apparently had a relationship with.

The second extra is of a rather interesting sculpture which dominates the central court. Size? You can walk underneath this ‘bad boy’.

The restaurant is good, especially the coffee and chocolate cake. I took many more photographs

The Perth Art Gallery and we certainly plan to do more.
