Bench

Most mornings, I pass this bench at about 6.30am.
It's in honour of a gentleman, fairly recently deceased.
I noticed a token left on it last year, reason unclear.
Then a wee dinky Christmas tree on Christmas Eve. (knocked about a bit, and I fixed it).
These flowers have obviously been left on Valentines day.
I wonder if tokens will appear on anniversaries, and birthdays.
Very sad, very touching.
