Now, as I see it......

Carry on up the line

We had arranged a walk at Holkham beach with friends this morning but I knew yesterday I wasn't really over the stomach bug I've had so I suggested we postpone.  As it turned out, I slept really well and for over nine hours so felt a lot better although probably still not up for a long walk.  Instead, W and I drove up to the Holgate Hill car park and had a shorter walk across Kelling Heath.

Being half term, the railway is running and as we crossed it at Windpump Crossing this train was coming up from Holt.  Not an ideal shot as it is running 'tender first', but for anyone interested it's the same engine I blipped a couple of days ago.

As I'm well on the mend I'm cooking the 'Valentine's' dinner I postponed from Friday; pan fried scallops, pea purée, broad bean fricassée, crispy bacon and black pudding bon-bons.  All the different elements are ready and just need to be warmed through while I cook the scallops.
