Sun and snow

Left home at ten thirty, after a damp walk and breakfast. Surprised that there was actually snow on the tops as we headed for the village. Nothing in the village. Sun most of the way.
Cottage was cold when we arrived but hubby got the heating on and a stove on and by the time we got back from a walk it was warm.
Think we will still need hot water bottles in the bed as cold up in the attic room.
Boiler service and hopefully repair in the morning.
