Say "Cheeeese" Shadow, say "Cheese" please

Shadow as always refuses.

To undo some of yesterday's lazyitus, Shadow took me for walkies. Steps not counted nor GPS tracked, but pointing & clicking along a Google map suggests just over 10 miles...not bad for a +13yrs old doggo!

The car was left at Werneth Low Visitors Centre with the intention to yomp over 'the Low' to Etherow Park for a coffee before returning along the same route. After said Cappuchoochoo & a Blondie shared with Shad', I pondered extending our walk back by reaching Marple Aqueduct and heading back towards Hyde along the Peak Forest Canal, to cut the journey short for her little legs at some point by jumping on a Bus or two to get back to the car.

That plan changed when consulting the map further along the canal and checking over the little ratter. She had a limp upon reaching the canal that was sorted with a leg massage. It must have worked because she was soon loving life again afterwards so we hopped off the 'cut prior to reaching Woodley and apart from a few spells of residential streets, it was footpaths & bridle paths for the win all the way back to the car park.

Needless to say she is now curled up sleeping it off in her bed. A TV dinner of stir fry with Trout fillet has been enjoyed whilst watching a Martin Zero production on the YouTube where he visits the rehearsal rooms (now a little recording studio) where New Order allegedly wrote Blue Monday. An interesting watch and a good find by Martin (no Blue Plaque on the wall unlike Strawberry Studios which greedily has two!)
