Saturday: Cartmel Priory

We went on a pleasant trip to Cartmel today where we enjoyed a good walk around, including a visit to the Priory.  Naturally a tea cake was also in order.

Then on to Arnside for a walk through town and along the water.  It was overcast but at least there was no rain.

In to Ulverston this evening to join a friend of Brother J’s for some birthday drinks.  We were all a bit tired though so didn’t stay long.
