Road Trip
So.....we were up early. We were out of the house by 6am and heading down the road with much excitement. The Hubby at the wheel, Sugar in the back, and mama bear riding shotgun. We had 12 hours of driving to do.....and it went very well.
We stopped a few places. One of which was Multnomah Falls. I hadn't been there in a long, long time. It was fun to show my girl this pretty place. We didn't stay long, as we had so many more miles to go, but I did snap a few shots, including the one here.
Sugar was super excited to see big ol' wind turbines for the first time as well. She learned about them in school this year, so seeing them in person was a real treat for her. We also so a lot of flat dry land, but eventually we ended up in the northern most of Idaho to join The Hubby's parents and his sister and her children at a camp ground near Silverwood Theme Park.
Long drive....but it went well. Sugar Bear enjoyed the books on CD I borrowed from the library for her. She was an excellent traveler. I'm such a lucky mama.
