Whistler painting

Another day on our Wales trip. We walked early morning at Bethgelert and got breakfast there. Then met up with Martyn and drove up to Anglesey. We visited Plas Newydd. Lovely to walk in the grounds overlooking the estuary. The highlight of the house was this Rex Whistler painting with amazing 3D effect/ eg the arches at the end are painted on a flat wall. On for a walk at Beaumaris after. Out for dinner at the Oakley Arms
