I bought some cotton yarn to make these.  Not for me, for Dale.  I think she will love them!

I met Mel in Linlithgow for a wander and some lunch.  There is a place called The Thread Counter there and they were really helpful.  I came away with the cotton yarn and made these this afternoon.
