Ugly (?)

I don't know that I would necessarily call any tree 'ugly', but it strikes me this plane tree, slowly sliding down the bank and into the river, not only has a rather wild array of crinkled branches but is covered in what look for all the world like warts.  So here it is - my entry for today's MonoMonday, subject 'Ugly' and kindly hosted by blipper Heanku.

As you see, I did get out just before lunchtime and crossed the park but didn't go round the reserve.  Perhaps I'll try that tomorrow.  I am feeling a little better - and do thank you for all your very kind messages - but I've still got a bit of a temperature and spent most of the afternoon in bed, which was actually rather nice!
