HOTBIN

Our hotbin arrived this morning . Surprised that it is made from polystyrene. Thought it might have been solid plastic and lined in some way. Hopefully it will work and we can make our own compost. It has a thermometer at the top for the temperature control and if it gets too cold there is a bottle which we fill with hot water to heat it up.
Not much else done today except I rescued the limes from the food waste someone threw them in there yesterday. I guess they thought they were bad as the skin was discoloured. They were perfectly ok when I cut them. Squeezed the juice out and froze it for the soups
