it would have been possible to stand here and watch the Battle of Glenlivet on yonder hill. Today, there were no battles. The ewes are busy feeding for two or three, although lambing is still a few months away up here. A lovely sunny day, but snow still covers the Ladder Hills, visible back right and all other high hills.
