Larch Cones

Not spotted among the branches of a tree but lying on the ground just outside the vegetable garden.

Bitterly cold today but apart from the low temperature the weather was unremarkable....no wind, no rain, no sun and just a flat grey sky. 

Choir practice tonight and I expect that we will all be a bit rusty having had a holiday last Monday. The email that popped in last week said that we were to practise our French, Italian and Latin (Italian pronunciation). I was a science/maths person at school so what hope do I have?
