Defunded!

On the ever growing list of things that are being cut, defunded, and eliminated are the US’s National Parks.

First established by Theodore Roosevelt, the National Parks system is unique to the US and represents a massive conservation effort that would be an immense legacy for generations to come. Their fate is more than uncertain at this point, with staff being told not to report to work, with seasonal hires terminated right away and permits for either excavations for minerals or for oil now allowed within these pristine environments.

Nothing and I mean nothing is sacred to these awful people….
