Landscape from the box

Imagine you have a box of landscape features.

You pull out a cliff set. Make it steep and grand. Put a little colour on it because it is Scotland and everything is green. You look in the box and there is another cliff. We will draw some trees on this one to make it a bit different. Now we have 2 ,,, lets call them the Heads of Ayr.

There is a wee castle in the box so lets plonk it on the hill by the sea at Greenan.

We have lots of sea. We will make some deep and blue coz people think of the sea as blue. We can put some waves in the sea. They are there but you don't see them so well so lets put a little white on some edges. Not big white horses ,, more little Shetland pony waves.

We need to show the sea is coming to the shore so we will put in some running waves. The clever people know why the waves run like that to the shore. Tilly and me just like to see them ,, not too bothered why they start.

Lets not have the sand right away. We can put a wee bit of higher ground where the sea doesn't splash at the moment. Look in the landscape box and find some sea weed and stones. Toss them over the wet sand.

Shame the camera isn't up to making it a quality picture ,,, but nobody will notice because they will all be taking in the fun and fullness of the scene. If I could find that "large" button I could let everyone see what I can see :(

Put it all together and call it after the river. We will leave the river in the box for the moment and just call it Doonfoot beach.

My wee patch of the world. Isn't so bad really.
