Widde Meuln at sunset

I've been working from home today. I finished just before sunset, with some time left to capture the beautiful light on the Widde Meuln windmill. Another opportunity to fly the drone! I had my first moment of panic with it, when I instructed the drone to land straight down from where it was hanging instead of making it return to home (RTH). I managed to cancel that instruction before it actually attempted to land in the grass about 100m away from where I was and change that to have it perform its RTH manoeuvre instead. Phew!

Before that scary moment, I did capture some video of the drone slowly passing over the village. This looks very goof I think, but then everything from this unusual angle (for me) looks quite good at the moment. I guess I'll get used to that in due time, but until then you may see quite a few drone captures from me here on my Blipfoto journal. As an extra, I've uploaded the view looking towards the setting sun.
