Peacock

We went to Whitchurch this morning so Mum could indulge in buying some things for her Dolls House from the shop there - much more satisfying than Internet shopping! We then went on to Mottisfont, a National Trust property near Romsey in Hants. They hold the national Rose collection in the walled gardens there. The main display was over, and the weather has not been kind, but the gardens still looked quite good, and were teeming with bees and butterflies.

Although it was a bit too breezy for sharp photos, I was pleased with this one of a Peacock Butterfly on what looks like a white buddleia.
