Birds all the way...

Yet another grey, cold and miserable day...

It didn't really inspire leaving the house but I did manage a trip to Trentham Gardens. I had a coffee with a fellow photographer friend and we wandered to  a couple of bird haunts for a spot of photography.

I even caught myself in this mallard's eye... The extras are of a jackdaw perched on a lifebelt and a heron hiding in the reeds. We'd managed a couple of hours but that was enough.

I chilled for the rest of the day.

My other half had made the trip to Preston to watch the football and then went to a relative's 80th birthday party.
