Funny looking bird

First time I’ve seen one of these on the bird table. Needed a commando crawl under the window to retrieve my camera from the ironing board (no I don’t know why I left it there either).

Apart from that, work, and trying to reassure myself that my swollen arm (insect/spider bite) was not going to turn into blood poisoning.

I’ve been a bit in and out lately, so for those who are interested, I’m in France, on my own (I think even upstairs fish has abandoned me for the great reedbed in the sky). Mr B is mostly looking after his mum, and the kids are doing uni stuff.
