Art journal, week 7
I was very happy to have this lesson to work on. It was even better that I set aside time to do it! The prompt of writing encouraging words directed at yourself, as well as positive affirmations, was a great way to begin, especially for me.
The idea was to write your thoughts down in a very messy way to create the base of your page. You didn't need to be able to read exactly what you wrote, it was really was a letter to yourself. I covered some of it with see through tissue paper and highlighted words I wanted to stand out. It felt great to work on this.
My sister and I toured 2 Assisted Living communities today with Mom in mind, that could include Memory Care services as well, which she needs because of her Alzheimer's diagnosis. One step at a time, we are moving towards a safer living situation for Mom.
