Over the Hills to Eddleston
When I woke up to snow (albeit only flurries) I did think that it might not be the best day to walk from Peebles to Eddleston, especially as quite a bit of it was uphill. I have to say though that once Kate, Janet and I had got under way, it turned out to be a pleasant (if invigorating) walk, followed by a delicious bowl of Cullen Skink at the Scots Pine in Eddleston.
We caught the bus back to Peebles as I had a Dr appointment (dodgy knee) and then Mr P picked me up. Son no 2 and his girlfriend had arrived back from Glasgow by then, so I cooked a new baked gnocchi dish for everyone this evening. Mr P was at uke group tonight, so son no 2 got me into the new season of The White Lotus. I’m waiting for Mr P now so that we can catch up with the latest episode of Unforgotten.
