Pretty in Pink
Romulea tetragona, a South African cormous plant named for the four wide ribs in it's leaves of all things! Hardy in a cold greenhouse here on the Cardigan Bay coast, it probably would not stand a prolonged frost. Several flowers per corm are produced in succession so although quite small, the brighten the greenhouse for weeks at this time of year.
Another late start after another late night. By the time I was up the sun had broken through and the day stayed sunny. Assorted little jobs done at home, an hour of glazing at pottery and an off lead walk for Meg - less folk about if you walk at lunchtime. This afternoon we welcomed Mark who has come to stay for a couple of nights. A friend of longstanding, albeit with some long gaps, he's involved with the railway and now also doing a little support work with Jamie. Good company and good to have company.
