Snow!

Looking from a height of approximately 200 metres, to the Northern side of a hill 10km/6mi away. I had a lovely sunshine at 1-2°C. And no snow at all (we had some the last days, but it melted away within a couple of hours).
But there, on that hill, just 300 metres higher (and hence 3°C colder) was of course snow. It is always the same. They even had a ski lift until a couple of years ago.
In case you fancy to go there: it is Neunkirchen in Modautal. You will have perfect view on Frankfurt's skyline.
