Day off?

I had hopes of getting a possible sunset photo today. I took the day off as it is a bank holiday, ended up taking mom to get her ears checked (which was originally going to be my sister, but that didn’t end up working out), then we went to 2 supermarkets, brought  her home, unloaded her groceries, then dad didn’t want me to leave…by the time I got home it was close to 7. We had some pretty strong winds yesterday and today and I went to pick up mom, there was a tree across her driveway. Good thing we put their car in the garage last week or it would have landed on it. 
Anyway, no sunset blip and had to settle for some tulips. I died a little texture, etc to it. Thought it gave it a more painterly effect.
