Begging

I watched her for about an hour and only saw two people give her a couple of coins; it was not clear why she had resorted to begging for help.  Finally as I left, I put a 20 peso bill into her hand - maybe she was feeling shame about the need to beg but she did not acknowledge it except to quickly put it away.
