Sarah’s Hands
Sarah’s hands have gardened, and cataloged books, and cooked tasty meals, and filled journals, and prayed, and blessed many others. Today she was so pleased that she could stand at her bathroom sink and wash her hands and brush her teeth, and take a tour around the room with her walker before she returned to her chair, to “Sarah’s place” as she called it. Her severe osteoporosis has limited her mobility for years. Her favorite pastime now is looking at photos of her family when she was a little girl. She will be ninety years old in May.
