Family Day

Family Day. 
A recent addition to official stat holidays as it was decided that the gap between New years Day and Good Friday was too long without a day off. (Such a wise decision)
It was adopted by the different provinces at different times, in BC, only in 2011.
It also coincides with President's Day in the USA but this year it has been cancelled until they get a real President.
Having said that, it was an appropriate time to use up a bunch of left overs, meat sauce, steak bites, roast lamb, roast potatoes, and chcken thighs.
Such a mash up like that had to be eaten "family style", i.e. help yourselves.

It went down well.


Ah well...
