Sarcococca Ruscifolia

As I walked into the park in the evening for my running club session it was lovely to find that it wasn’t dark at 5.50 pm and then to be greeted by the most beautiful scent. I must walk past this bush countless times and never noticed before. Perhaps it was the biting cold that enhanced it! I’ve shown the Latin name, according to my iPad anyway, and found it’s a variety of sweet box. Think I’ll look out for it, winter flowering and scented. Beautiful!
