Garvin

Our nephew Garvin turned 30 today. We bought him a bottle of Vodka and a bottle of lime cordial. There is a story behind it.

I used to drink 1:1 vodka and lime cordial when I worked in pubs when I was young. I could easily polish off a whole bottle on my own. Last time Garvin and I had a boys weekend, we got on the grog and ended up drinking vodka. I suggested Vodka and lime cordial bit there was none, so we used some sort of lemon cordial as a substitute. It did the job at the time but I wanted to show him the "real" vodka and lime experience (usually followed by a sore head!).

So, while it is a gift for Garvin on his 30th, he will no doubt share it with me sometime in the near future.
