Fresh and Delicious

Fresh figs are around at the moment and are really sweet and delicious.  
I was hunting around the shops yesterday for bananas which are usually abundantly available all year around!! 
To my surprise I could not find any at all even after trying 3 different outlets!!  There has been a serious cyclone to the far north of Perth which has affected the crop!  In the eastern states there has been terrible flooding which has also affected the crops over there!!  So, long story shorter I went for these lovely fresh figs and some beautiful red grapes instead.
Funnily enough when I went back today for something I forgot much to my delight there were some bunches of very green bananas which I grabbed in case no more show up for a while!! : )
