School half-term break and despite the cold wind some mums were in the kiddies playground with their children.

A weak sun appeared without any warmth but it gave a vague sense of hope for a brighter future.

At home , a chaffinch, a pair of Bullfinches and a handful of long-tail tits have visited the bird feeder.
