Special duck.........Result MonoMonday

Look, what a funny duck with a blue beak, I said to my husband. 
It is an ordinary mallard, he replied. No, it has a blue beak and the feathers are also differently drawn, I insisted. 
Then, my husband started to look properly and then he looked up the bird app on the phone and announced that it is a northern pintail duck. 
No damn ordinary mallard, I said. And felt satisfied.

It was fun to see all the contributions to Ugly, a word that is both adjective and adverb. You took care of the word in many different ways, which made me happy. As always, it is so hard to choose photos, but it has to be done. So it ended as below.

60plus10; Celery is an incredibly ugly root vegetable, but so good, I prefer it grilled in the oven. 
Majoayee; Many years ago, when computers arrived, it was promised that we could become both paperless and cordless. I have seen nothing of that. It looks right this with me too. 
Kd; Snow can be beautiful, especially in photos. But when the snow is swirling around in front of your face, it is not fun. Not at all. The bad thing about snow is so visible here.
