Bird box.

A friend made this bird box a few years ago and we placed it on a tree in the woods just over the fence from the house.   Blue Tits built a nest in it on the first year it was up.  No birds in the second year, then bees took over on the third year..  In year 4, J cleared out any remnants of the bees but no birds nested.  A couple of weeks ago some Tits were hovering around and today J saw a bird enter, stay for a short time and then leave, so hopefully there is a nest there.  I don't have a view of it from my chair, so I will need to move to a better viewing position :-)).
