A bit of a panic…

Archie and I went down to the local hardware shop to buy a sink plug. And to get a treat in the shop (him, not me).

Then I spent quite a bit of the morning panicking about travel insurance AND our Norwegian cruise!! I checked in to the cruise line’s website, and my login page said -

‘CANCELLED’…

I rang the travel agent who assured me it was NOT cancelled. They book it another way, not through the ship’s website…

After that drama, we all decided to go out for a walk, with hopefully a little treat on the way - just Archie and I - JR can go on walks without treats!

We walked round Bruntsfield, not going in to Black Ivy, not going in to Monty’s, not going in to Project Coffee, not going in to La Barantine, but as we came to Holy Corner, my new favourite little cafe presented itself, and JR gave in. We had excellent coffees (in little pottery cups), delicious pastries, and there was a very pleasant soundtrack on again. Top marks!

The others walked home an even longer way, and I had to stagger home - my £15 shoes, which I’d happily worn all day - became very uncomfortable. Boy I was glad to be home and get my slippers on!! (6,881 steps)

We’re watching ‘Riviera’ on Netflix. Well, I managed about half way on Season 1 before I gave up. JR has kept going, I half-watched Episode 10, the end, asking who people were.

Then it started SEASON 3!!
