Freezing cold and soaking wet

Will was umpiring at Saffron Walden as part of an East of England junior umpire training. It was freezing, it was wet and in the end he was the most experienced junior umpire there! But it was worth the trek and the cold because he caught the eye of the coach and is now being mentioned in dispatches to do bigger things and to get his assessment done for Level 1!
