My Yacht

It's been a busy day, so not much time for photography.

This is the yacht we bought in Fowey, it's fitted in very well in the bathroom.

After the Ocado delivery this morning the new dishwasher was delivered and very efficiently installed this afternoon. It's running at the moment, so that's a relief. I had a worry at the back of my mind that there might be an issue with the wiring causing the last one to trip the RCD, but I guess it definitely was a heater or motor shorting out.

I had some success at camera club last night, two third places and a bottle of red wine in the raffle. I can't complain :-) The judge said that he really didn't like one of my images, and it would have been rejected after 2 seconds in a salon. But it grew on him, and he eventually got it!

I've done a lot of admin today catching up with loads of emails that came in while we were away. There was one from Thames Water warning us about some big price rises coming our way. I had a look back at previous bills and realised the meter hadn't been read for over 2 years ( they are supposed to read it at least once a year). All our recent bills have been based on estimates, so we could be paying too much, or too little. I thought I would submit a reading to get things straight before the price increase but no way could I open the meter cover at the end of the drive. It's a heavy cover as there are 4 meters in the one place and I think you may need special tools to lift it up. So I spent 22 minutes on the phone to them about it. They promised to send someone to read it within 10-15 days, They wanted to put down the reason being that I was too old to do it myself!

In other other news we keep thinking it is Sunday. It isn't is it?
