Bearded Tit

The bearded tits or bearded reedlings were showing well when I arrived around RSPB Old Moor late this afternoon. What was far more tricky was getting a shot as it was windy and the tiny fluffy little things were not just swaying about precipitously on the reed heads but were hidden from the camera with the other reeds in the bed.

 I filled a card and a half = 3-4,000 shots and then gave my laptop apoplexy and it gave up! I haven't seen them all yet.
